eDUCATION

New Beginnings Clubhouse assists members with achieving their educational goals. Members have access to tutoring, mentoring and guidance. Clubhouse supports members obtaining academics skills such as high school equivalency and computer literacy skills. members have the option to attend in house education meetings to assist with their personal educational goals.

EMPLOYMENT

New Beginnings offers employment programs designed to help members obtain employment through transitional, supported, and independent employment

Transitional Employment

Transitional employment offers members the opportunity to reintegrate into the workforce. The duration of each transitional employment placement is 6-9 months so additional members have the option to be employed. Both staff and members are trained for the position so that in the event that the member is not available, coverage is provided by staff.

Supported Employment

New Beginnings works directly with members to aid with job readiness, job referrals, and resume writing. Clubhouse also works closely with the employer to monitor and track progress of supportive employees. However, Clubhouse does not provide coverage in the event of the employee’s absence.

WELLNESS

Given that mental and physical health are closely related, we believe it’s important to address the physical well-being of members. Our facility offers a workout area provided with equipment, here members can participate in low impact exercise classes or wellness walk (weather permitting) that are held daily at 12:30 p.m.

HOUSING

New Beginnings Clubhouse offers housing resources for members that are working towards independent living.
